Hell’s Hole–Kayenta. Moderate hike About 5+ miles round trip and 500 feet elevation change. This hike takes us up through a rocky wash into two beautiful canyons at the base of Red Mt. There is a bit of scrambling but nothing very difficult. There’s nothing like doing a little scrambling over big red boulders to work on ones core!! Who knows why this hike was dubbed “Hells Hole” for there is no resemblance of hell in here!!! We hike in through a wash and come out on top along the ridge! A perfect loop!!!
