Mill Flat Trail- Moderate hike; 8+ miles. Here we have a hike up in the mountains of Pine Valley. Pine Valley is where the residents of St George go to get out of the heat! We enjoy getting out of the heat too…on our long, extended day hikes! So up we travel to Pine Valley…a beautiful little alpine community not too far from Desert Cliffs. Mill Flat trail takes us up a lovely wooded canyon where we more often than not enjoy the sound of a running stream and the cooling mountain breezes. Its a good steady incline that we take on…but almost all guests can find that they can do it without any problems. This is also a summer hike…for it snows in Pine Valley in the winter months!!
