What makes your program better than others?

That’s easy – the HIKING!  The results of hiking are enormous, not only do you lose weight fast because of the natural interval type exercise that it provides, but you are able to gain muscle in a natural way because you are using all the major muscle groups, especially your core.  Plus you are able to get out into the breath-taking outdoors and hike your way to a thinner and more beautiful you.  Let’s face it the reason that anybody is going to spend their time and money on any type of weight-loss program is for RESULTS.  With Desert Cliffs you still get the type of results or better that any of the other weight loss, boot-camp program, but you are not going to be in a stuffy gym all the time.  Our personal, individualized approach to weight loss and fitness is the best because of our location and our staff – we are in some of the most spectacular country in all the world and our professional staff take the time and get to know you and assist you through this journey.  Lose weight fast and have a blast while you are doing it.

 

How do I sign up?

Please call us at 877-317-4533 to see about availability.  We will be happy to answer any questions you have at that time.  We require a $500 deposit to reserve your space at the time of booking.  The remainder of your balance is due 1 week before your scheduled arrival date.

 

What does the cost include?

Pretty much everything is included in the rate except travel to and from our facility and any spa services or treatments that you may choose to get while you are here.  After you book your stay, we will send you additional information including a suggested packing list of items to bring with you.

 

 

Will I starve myself while I’m at your facility?

No you are not going to starve while you are here at Desert Cliffs.  You are coming to our program to learn how to eat delicious, healthy foods that will fuel your body properly to look great and lose weight.  Fad diets do not work, and we want you to be able to take the meal plan home with you.  Our meal plan is very simple to duplicate, and very easy to learn how to apply to your life.

 

 

What if the program is too hard or too easy?

We know everyone is at different fitness levels. We are a small program in terms of the number of guests that we accommodate, and we take pride in being able to accommodate each guest as an individual, no matter their age or fitness level.  Whether you are training for a marathon or hoping to lose over 100 pounds, we can accommodate just about any fitness level.

 

 

When can I start?

We start new groups every week. New guests arrive on Sundays. We can work with you if your schedule requires other arrival or departure days. We are currently accepting new reservations. Please call us to discuss availability.

 

 

Do I need to bring or rent a car?

No, a car is not required while you are at Desert Cliffs.  We will take you to all of the different hikes in one of our vehicles.  Some of our guests like to have a car and we do have parking available if you want to drive or rent a car.

 

 

How do I get there?

Most people will fly into Las Vegas (LAS) and then take one of the shuttle companies to our facility. We are located about 2 hours north of Las Vegas.  Some will rent a car, although a car is not required while you are here.  Some of our guests will fly directly into St. George (SGU), if you fly into St. George you can either rent a car or we have complimentary airport pick-up and drop off service.

 

 

Will my insurance pay for my stay at Desert Cliffs?

Eventually, most insurance companies will cover weight loss plans and programs. Today, however, few insurance companies see the benefit of preventative treatment for obesity-related medical conditions. Some insurance plans will cover some or all of the cost related to fitness programs. Please contact your insurance provider to inquire about coverage and benefits.
